The church was constructed in 1839, but was destroyed to make way for a Gothic Style building and then again rebuilt to house more people in 1911. Knox Presbyterian Church Knox Presbyterian was originally constructed in the late 1800s; a fire destroyed the original church in 1918, also killing the fire chief at the time.
