Nov 25 to Nov 30 The Stratford Theatre Festival is long tradition of Stratford and has since become world renowned. The festival begins in the spring and follows through until fall offering theatre enthusiasts a wide range of Shakespearean and other productions. Local resident Tom Patterson inspired and orchestrated the ground work for the festival in the mid 1950s. He now has the Patterson Theatre named after him for all of his accomplishments.

John McDermott, tenor, will be the final show in Stratford Live's Fall Season on Thursday, December 17th. "Legend" is not a title John McDermott would readily embrace, but his accomplishments have become legendary in recording industry lore. He calls Toronto and Boston home, but he has also found a home as an international recording star and household name - known for his successful musical career as for his committment to veterans' causes. Hi fall tour will feature his newest release "Journeys" - as well as some new songs that have not yet been released. The band is now in place and has some new - and some familiar faces too.
